This is my first post, so I though i'd let you all know what a nut I am.

Winter is aproaching here in Chicago. I'm very excited about it. I'm the kind of person who loves to tourture myself phycially. My favorite conditions to ride in are rain, cold (less than 20 degrees) and heat (over 90). I get a sick grin when I get home and someone asks me what i've been up to.

girlfriend "hey, how was your ride?"
me: "GREAT! i just banged out 70 miles"
gf: "you're an idiot... it's like 14 degrees".

once i freaked my mom out... i was still living at home (in ohio) and got back from an 80 mile ride and it was about 98 degrees. I got home, doused myself with the hose... somehow the cold water mixed with my exaustion made me black out right there on the patio.

okay, i need to buy warm cycle clothes, now.

Yeah, you southerners will need to be wearing warm clothes soon. Here in Little Siberia, we put the shorts and Ts away last week. Take a holiday trip up here, and we can ride across the lakes.
