Northeast Rides and Events - Human Powered Vehicle Festival, 9/17/2011, Ayer, Massachusetts

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The Friends of the Nashua River Rail Trail are hosting the second annual Human Powered Vehicle Festival, for everyone in the area to come enjoy the Rail Trail, get some exercise, and have fun together in an environmentally friendly way. The festival will be on Saturday September 17 at the Ayer end of the Nashua River Rail Trail, and will include a road ride in the morning and demonstrations and activities in the afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00. Like last year, it will be free to all comers. There will be vehicles of all sorts, including not only bicycles, but also unicycles, antique bikes, scooters, roller blades, tricycles, wheelchairs, velomobiles, and more unusual vehicles that you've probably never heard of before. More information is available on the festival website at http://tiny.cc/hpvf
