Can I use a lock ring from a 9 speed cassette on a ten speed cassette as long as the smallest cog (12) is the same?

Thanks in advance,

Z

yes you can. If you are swapping cassettes on the same hub, the 9 and 10's use the same lockring. The only time you can have a problem is when you have a lockring from a different year hub.Campy now uses a 27.0 lockring. Some of the 98's and 99 hubs used a 26.0 lockring

Big thanks...appreciate it. Thought so, but you know the Campy world, run their stuff forever, but some stuff talks to each other, some doesn't!
