Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I use Flikr.com as a hosting site for my photos.
From there, you go to "Share" -> "Grab the HTML/BBCode" ->
right click -> "copy" -> then on BF -> right click -> "paste".

I myself prefer photobucket.
It allows me to post my pitures with the name I assign. so for multiple postings, it's faster in the long run.
When I freate my picture,s I anme them acordign to the date (today's date).........083011A......second picture will be 083011B......083011C
I load them in photobucket so when I post, I can post several like this: I copy and paste the link form one picture:
notice they are all "A" at this point
xxxxxxxxxx083011A
xxxxxxxxxx083011A
xxxxxxxxxx083011A
then I just change the A to B and C, it allows me to make the changes her quickly without havign to do as flick, clickonpic, click on share, click on get bbc code, copy and paste blah blah blah
I changed them to A B and C within 10 seconds. ;) now all 3 pictures will post....photobucket works beacue it keep sthe same name as teh url. flickr doesn't so it's click click click and more click.
xxxxxxxxxx083011A
xxxxxxxxxx083011B
xxxxxxxxxx083011C
with photobucket, it give you the direct link when you place the cursor over eh image so no need to click for thelink, then simply click on insert image forum icon above for image to paste.

Does Photobucket limit your space? I get messages from Flikr now and then saying I've posted too many pics and to pay for more space. So, I delete old stuff and add new.

They don't have the 200 photo rule like flickr. I don't use flickr that much anymore so not sure if flickr changed in the last 3 years. But at one time I did have to remove pics so that I myself could view them on my photostream. BUT the pics don't vanish from the forums etc. they remain, just can't see them in your photostream.
Photobucket has never done that to me, I have 20 something pages including over 300 pictures and never have they stopped me from viewing the pics in my photostream/album.
What they did do about a year ago was blank out my pictures in the forums because I exceeed the band width limit. I did post a ton of pictures within a week as I covered two organized rides with several forum members and posted a ton of pics. But after the beginning of the month (according to join date), all the pics were restored into the forums.
The did send out a message a few monthsback that they did away with the limit. Not sure if it was for existing or new members as well.
I post plenty of pics and only once have I gone over that limit in 5 years. They had a limit meter on one of their info pages but I can't seem to find it so I take it they did do away with that limit.
What I did was open a second account. If I ever do post that many pics and think I might hit the max, I split them bewtween the two accounts to make sure I don't go over.:D
I also did that on flickr whenI used it often. Jut open a new yahoo email and there ya go, new flickr account as well. I do the same for photobucket, 3 free accounts.

.
Very observant. :P In pot #9, I mention, I don't use it that much anymore.
Meaning I post many ride pictures. If I post 6, I use photobucket. Flickr gets the little stuff that I may save but don't use to post ride pics. :D
Photobucket has all the ride pics because of it's ease. Flickr gets the pictures of my ankle tan lines, hairy legs, etc.
