True to size or no?

According to their chart I'd wear an XXL, but I have a pair of Pearl Izumis in an XL that fit just fine.

Just want to know before I place my order.

Thanks!

I usually wear a 36/38 (more often 38) pant and fit the XL just fine if that helps at all. I actually have an xxl and xl from there and I like the fit of the xl much better.

Helps indeed ... I'm between a 38 and 40, and hopefully continuing to get smaller, so I think I'll go with the XLs ... thanks!

I wear XL in PIs and the XXL Falconi bibshorts are somewhat snug in comparison, especially around the legs, YMMV

They're not terribly tight and in fact I wore them for the first time on my 40 mile ride Saturday. I found them to be comfortable overall and I like the bibs better than shorts. My PIs seems to be made of material that simply stretches a LOT more than other shorts I have including the Falconi. I'm 6-1 236 pounds and tyipcally wear 38" Levis (snug) to give you a data point.

yeah, that helps ... I'm afraid the XXLs will be baggy, which kind of defeats the whole purpose :)

Thanks again!

Either way you have the 30 day test ride if they aren't what you expected.

The ones I got are pretty much true to size with the chart.

My waist is somewhere between 36 and 38, and while the XLs I got are snugger than I had anticipated, that hasn't proven to be a problem. They're easy to get on and off, there've been no bursting seams, etc., and I've come to appreciate the fit - no moving or shifting around, and they offer at least the illusion of greater muscle support, if not the real thing.

I'd say the Falconi bibs run true to the size chart that's on their website. If you're close to the large end for a particular size, the bibs will fit snugly. If you don't like snug, consider ordering the next larger size.

I have a pair of PI XXL shorts that are starting to get a hair loose, Falconi XXXL fits like a glove (a little snugger).

Ordered!

Eager to get them ... my Nashbar bibs are literally falling apart ... the pad has come unsewn and is cracking, for lack of a better term ... Really unhappy with them.
