There are a lot of good shops in town, and I presume that many of them rent. Personally I've had good dealings with Fairwheel (http://fairwheelbikes.com/), Ordinary (http://ordinarybikeshop.com/)RoadRunner (http://www.roadrunnerbicycles.com/), and Trisports (http://shop.trisports.com/bike.html), among others...but never for rentals.
