I believe this Bruce Gordon is from the mid 80s, but I'd like to know more about it, including a more specific year, if possible. The frame is columbus tubing and the components are campi. Seat and stem are cinelli. Serial # is C01583 but that doesn't mean much to me unless the ****83 is year '83? Totally guessing. Anybody have any good info on this? Thanks!!

Oh my.....!
I would recommend that you never sell that (except possibly to me, but it's a bit small for me).
Bruce Gordon, imo, is one of the best of all American builders. He is still taking orders and building steel framesets. Highly recommend him if you want a top-tier frame at a reasonable (for 2011) price.
Yes, contact him. It certainly could be the first Chinook built in May of 1983 (if that is his numbering system).

It's floating in lava! Run! Run!
Those are dried jalapenos, silly! Just don't inhale near them....
+1 on Bruce Gordon being one of the best domestic builders of all time.
Superb craftsmanship, and creative aesthetics. IMHO, I've not seen one of his builds that didn't wow me.
When I can afford it, and if he's still wielding a torch, I'd have him customize a touring/rando frame for me.
Gorgeous bike you got there.
