Northern California - any one know about this bunch of riders?

Last night (Wed Aug 31) I saw a bunch of riders going from Minnesota ave to Lincoln ave at about 8 pm.

it felt like SJ bike party, there were lots of lights and when the left hand turn light changed...people yelled red light and it looked like most stopped...maybe a pushed

i don't know how many people there were 40-60?

Anyone have any idea what this was?

those guys leave later like 10 pm or 11 pm...... besides I think frantik was out on some trail dancing with a skunk for that ride

it probably was the Hyland ride. it starts at the Hyland bike shop in Willow Glen on Meridian at 7pm http://bikesoiree.org/pages/bike-soiree-calendar

or maybe a bike party test ride (less likely)

It was the Hyland ride, but ANY ride that rides "the way (SJBP) rides" is a Bike Party. Nobody owns the rights to that phrase. Ride anywhere around the South Bay area with a handful of riders and people yell out "bike party" all the time, but maybe it's only when there's music playing as well, the riders are generally not dressed up in racing uniforms and are on a wide variety of bike types.
