NOT useful for seeing where you are going on a bike, but very cool little lights that would be great for safety flashers and for easily packed back-up lights:
Pak Lite - a tiny little light head that snaps onto a 9V battery. I have a bunch of these in various types. They make one that has a dual switched dual LED set up. One white LED as a flashlight and one flashing red LED as a safety strobe.

With a little bit of self stick velcro these have a million uses, and the flashing model is a nice glovebox emergency item.
With a 9V lithium battery, they seem to burn forever.
