CX, dirt-drips, roadie, touring, C/V, whatever! I'm interested in converting to some situation where I can take the Boy on longer, faster rides and am interested in seeing your rigs and hearing about your experiences and stuff.

Dunno if trailers count...
Wife and I take the two boys (3 Y/O and 2 Y/O) out three days a week. We live in the mountains so are usually going 40 mph or 3 mph. It's pretty hard work. The kids spend a lot of time fighting with each other. This is annoying, but eventually my wife gets pissed off and she takes it out on the pedals. I tell her "Save your anger for the last hill!"

I also take the kids out on my single, though I really prefer to take one or the other rather than both. I figure the loaded trailer with two kids and all the crap they have to have with them probably goes 70 pounds, and even though I'm using a low-geared Rohloff Speedhub, riding up any real hills can be purely anaerobic. With just one kid on board, it can be more enjoyable.
On the whole, though, riding with kids transforms the whole experience, and generally not for the better. Better than staying home on the couch, though.

Not even remotely what I was looking for but simply amazing non the less! You are a man who loves his family very much!
As far as trailers go, we have one that I like a lot BUT the roads are too narrow around hereand the trafi too fast for me to feel comfortable dragging The Bruce behind me. Besides, he likes his seat better since he rides up high and can see every thing.
