Hello all,

I recently picked this up from a friend and I was wondering if anyone could place the year/exact model name (or rider's name pictured) and approximate value? I plan on replacing the wheelset and riding it for a bit, all Campagnolo parts, I mean everything. Anyone know which series the components are and maybe the value of those also???

Thanks in advance for helping out someone without knowledge on this bike.

Looks like some Campy C Record parts - nice stuff, if a little worn. Based on the RD, you are looking at 1986-90. It was the top group at the time. Check ebay for completed auctions for detailed prices on the parts, but I think you are looking at around $300 for RD, headset, crank, FD, brakes, and shifters, based on their condition. Not sure about value on frame, though. Others will have a better idea.

Well worn frame.

Super pretty when new.

I have a Gold Line S that folks ask me about from time to time.

I have been surprised at the $$$ offered.

I'd say $250 or so for the frame set.

Man, too bad it's so beat up. That paint job would take some $ to reproduce. I'd spend a day cleaning and polishing the components. The C-Record parts do have value.

And that's not the ridesr's name - that's Casati's signature.

Awesome, thanks for the info guys. Anyone know what speed the bike was? I'm looking for a wheelset for it now...

That's a 7 speed RD.
