Classic & Vintage - Sturmey Archer 3+2 Twinshift needed

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Hey all, looking for a Sturmey Archer twinshift for a beautiful Raleigh Fireball I just aquired, either in working condition or parts. Current model I have is chrome with wood shift nobs- some necessary parts are missing, the most vital being the little arched piece of metal that eases gear transition on the 3 speed side. Any leads? Thanks for looking!
Can you send a pic of the shifter you need? I have one that is made for a muscle type bike. Large shifter with one lever larger than the other. Not sure if this is the type you are looking for. I will be gone for the weekend and unable to respond until Monday.
Hey Sierra,
Sorry i'm so late to reply. I don't have an actual picture to post, but follow this link-

It's actually picture of a Raleigh Rodeo, but the shifter, and the bike itself for that matter, appear to be identical.
Thanks much!
Sorry, that shifter looks different from the one I have.
You may be able to modify the shift lever to operate in pure friction mode; it is very easy to find second gear, and of course 1st and 3rd are trivially at the extremes.
