Let's just clear everybody else out and let Froome and Cobo ride the rest of the tour attacking each other.

LOL. Very very difficult for Froome to put any time into Cobo today. What to do? Try to steal the intermediate sprints (tough, they'll be well defended by Geox) or just try to batter him on the climbs and hope he cracks after yesterday's efforts? I don't think Froome can sprint, so I can't see how he can go for the stage win.

Moncoutie owes his teammate Sumens big time. Sumens took 8 points away from Montaguti today, and the 8 points would have put Montaguti in the KOM jersey by one point.

I'm wondering why team Sky didn't attack earlier on the last climb. Couldn't they have tried the old one-two punch, with Wiggins attacking, forcing Cobo to cover, then Froome attacking, once they were caught -- and back and forth like that?

In theory, that would have been ideal, however, I've been watching Wiggins closely all year, and I've never seen him accelerate on his bike, let alone attack.
