Hi, I'm in my early 40s, getting back into biking because we recently moved to Portland, and it's a great place for it. As a kid, I lived on my 10-speed until we moved out of a small town and into the car-centric suburbs...I've been living in car-centric places ever since, until now. Portland is weird, interesting, annoying and great.
Since May, I've given up my car & commute by bike&train 5 days a week. Bike route is 15 miles round trip, and after a week of that on a 10-speed, I bought a bionx-based electric bike.
I'm open to questions from anyone on my experiences with the Portland bike scene, electric bikes, the Georgia bike scene, etc.
Thanks!
