I have checked the fuse. Is this battery shot? or is there something I'm missing.

This light worked great for 2 full years.(7-12 hours a week)

Any suggestions?

You probably need to replace the battery. Nicads have a finite life. Should be easy to do.

I concur with Rodfrank. You need new NiCads. BTW, please try and dispose of the old ones carefully. Cadmium is one of the nastiest things there is to put into the environment. When you get new ones, ask if there is an exchange program. Or, go on the net and search on "Nicad disposal".

Just to let you know the Nicad was shot. I received a new NiMH battery. Cygolite has discontinued the Nicad. (Thats what they told me) I got good service a thank you and anytime you have problem just call we are here to help.

I had to bring the Nicad to an automotive shop and pay $5.00 to have it disposed of.

Thanks

ThanksRadio Shack and or Home Depot would have taken it for free.

Thanks! That's good to know. I used to work for HP and they had a battery disposal service at work and I have been looking for a legitmate (and free) method for a while now. For several years I have been saving them up and my town will take them once a year.
