Will need help regarding purchase?

Two bikes, same price.

1st cca 19800s Panasonic Dx3000
Tange frame, fork tange mangaloy2001
groupset mostly exage sport
stem SR custom, bars 3ttt
rims ARAYA 700c i think SS45 700c
seatpost la prade
pedals exage

2nd is MBK Motobecane it say's TEAM CHAMPION but i am not sure?

Frame, fork: Reynolds 501
Shimano 105 biospace crankset
Shimano 600 brakes
Shimano 105 1051 slr levers
Rims Mavic MA40
The rest i don't know cause i couldn't find out more from the guy who is selling.

Since i need it for my singlespeed project i would go for MBK but i don't have any info about Motobecane bikes from late 80's when they started again. Team Champion was one of their top models bus somehow i doubt they were made with 501 tubing?

Any thoughts recomodation info would be great.

I'd probably go look at the Motobecane first as on paper the components are better, just need to see what the frame is like. Never see any Moto's that recent here in the US.

The Panasonic is less of a mystery (click image for 1987 catalog).

Reynolds 501 = not a top model, more likely mid grade. Better components on the Moto, not sure how your market is, but since you are going SS, the sale of better components can tip the scale a bit.

Myself, its a toss up and assuming the sizing is equivalent, I would get the bike with the best paint and decals. If the paint is similar, I would go with the Moto to get the better components.

Unfortunately the both have biospace cranks. I am planning to sell the components from where i see Moto would
be the choice. I was just little bit unfamiliar with Tange tubing and MBK bikes after 1984 when they started with production in france. Cause after bancrupt their logo was used for bikes produced in Taiwan.

Tange Mangalloy 2001 is kind of average. Nothing special.

i am just wondering regarding frame cause on mine cables passes inside of the top tube. On the catalog one that's not the case??? I checked later catalogs but couldn't find nothing similar. The guy says it brought from Swiss..Maybe was EU model or something.

Ps just find out the MBK doesn't have horizontal dropouts..
