I posted this earlier on commuter thread ,then I noticed the hybrid thread.One poster suggested the raleigh cadent ,a great suggestion however not available in Canada.

I have been searching for a bike with the following specs. So far the only one I found is this one MEC Chance http://www.mec.ca/AST/ShopMEC/Cyclin...cle-unisex.jsp

It has
11 speed alfine hub .
Hydraulic disc brakes
Carbon front fork
700 c wheels

and although this one does not have it ,a belt drive would be the cream on top , however not a necessity . Is there another bike like it? Lots of 8 speed alifines.

I believe I was the one who mentioned the Cadent I11. Here's something that you should be able to get in Canada- Brodie Once (http://www.brodiebikes.com/2011/bikes/once.php). Has an alloy fork instead of carbon, but has the Alfine 11 and hydo discs that you want.

If you're really wanting the Cadent I11, then maybe order one from these guys (http://www.cyclesintl.com/). They are located in my area and they plainly state they will ship world wide.

Check out Marin bikes. I seem to remember a review with that kind of features.
