Introductions - yet another newbie (kind of)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

hi i'm nate. i've been mountain biking for about 2 years. i live in nw washington. i usually ride at bellingham's famous and fabulous galbraith mountain.

i dont ride anything fancy, its just a crappy motiv from costco. you know, basically the bare minumum to get me up and down the hill. my shocks (front only) only have about 1-2 inches of movement (ha). plus they squeak.

anyone else here ride around (or even heard of) galbraith?

oh yeah, i just signed up here after my favorite hangout/forum was shut down, it was about guitars rather than bikes (i've been playing for about 6 years) and i had over 1700 posts, so i guess i'm not really considered a newbie.

Whatever your tipple Nate, you are always welcome here. I think we have one or two guitar playing members on board, and we are always looking for advice on things to do with biking, so there should be something up your street. :) Keep posting.
