SART diversion is done with, The bridge over the river is no longer connected to the path.

Rode the new section today, it is fast, smooth and WIIIIDE. For a while I thought it was a road, but sure enough its the trail. They're also paving a parallel section literally 5-10 feet away from this new section, not sure what the deal is with that. It's fenced off at the moment.

Also, fresh pavement at the "mercado del rio" shopping area, aka the 1 set of driveways you have to ride through on the SART. No more gnarly blacktop there on the sidewalk.

I rode it a few days ago - it is like riding on a track - smoooooooth. Not sure why they put in the extra strength guardrail, unless they plan on golf carts or cars ripping through there someday

Might as well put you on the 91, it's so close to the freeway, lol. It is nice though

Maybe its for the mountain lions so that it would give us that extra adrenaline rush as we try to out run them.
