I am a 67 year old Iowa beginner cyclist and I started my first cross country USA tour Memorial Day weekend in June 2011 from San Francisco and finished up on Labor Day weekend in September on the Delaware shore. Had lots of fun and decided to extend my ride to a North/South run. www.jacksvelosafari.shutterfly.com
To see the autumn colors, I am beginning this tour the first week of October where Maine meets the Canadian border. Haven't decided where I will finish. Maybe Key West if the weather holds. I am going to search for hosts this time because cold weather in a tent is just not me. 219727
