Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I plan to build a Klunker... What frames could I use from the 30's to the 60s... ?
thanks a ton....

A klunker you say? Just about any frame from the 30's to 60's.
You're welcome.
I am working on a 1951 Schwinn Straightbar frame. I think it would make a great Klunker. I am not going that route, but it did occur to me while looking for parts to go on it. The rear spacing is pretty narrow, so if you go the multi-speed route, it will need substantial frame widening.
I am doing something like this (without the red tires.)

I saw the tightest single speed fat tire old school cruiser last night.. and it was a girl riding it. not sure the frame but it had super fat white tires and one of those low old style drop bars (like a city bike bar but upside down)
i love the look of classic cruisers-turned klunker.. wonder which are the lightest frames
