The LBS here has its inventory funds tied up in sub $400 bikes that sell well ,
lots of MTB and such for Elk season, if someone wants a cross bike the shipping
from the wholesalers is 3 bizness days, one that is here
lost it's wheel to a bike tourist in immediate need.

After I got my confirmation that payment received, and shipping information on September/22/2011 that it will be delivered by UPS on 09/27/2011 Tuesday.
Instead of receiving the bike from UPS, at night I receive a email from pay pal that I have been refunded, and another email from bikes direct (Lady name Karla) that this particular bike is sold out. And they would give a discount if I buy another bike,and on September/30/2011 Friday, I decided to buy the TEAM, it is $1999.95 cross titanium bike (49cm), until today she is thinks she does not have it or she has it that she has to find out from the warehouse. meanwhile you can see it in their website it is available.
Only reason I'm dealing with her is that she is the only one that can apply the discount, today it is October 3rd. And that's where we are.

Sorry to hear about all the issues your having. The bike came in last night. I got it put together, but haven't had a chance to ride it yet. I had to travel for work. The front brakes need some adjustment. Hopefully, I'll get to ride it friday. Hope things work out for you.

Hang in there and keep in touch with them every few days. I know a lot of bike companies are between model years right now and haven't received shipment of their 2012s from overseas. BD is probably in the same boat. Just don't let them drop you through the cracks.

that's weird that they'd give you shipping info before telling you it was out of stock.

My Moto Team cross titanium bike is on it's way, and I have got the discount also. Bike should be here October, 10th Monday.

It has arrived today, I put it together roughly, so far everything is in place not a scratch. It i too late to do more. And they throw in Shimano 105 pedals.

Looks pretty nice, let us know how she rides.

The bike is out for a tune up, although t did not need much. I'm getting final mechanical check up and a fit.

what is the spacing of the rear 130 or 135 mm?
