If not here is the perfect chance. The 2005 Sea Otter Classic (http://www.seaotterclassic.com/) is now open for registration and info. If you love racing or just cycling in general this is a must see event.

Mtb'ers, roadies and fans all at one event that is even a great place to bring the little ones. If you do plan on going besure to make hotel res. 'cause they fill up quick.

I grew up in Santa Cruz, of course I've seen an otter. I surfed next to them many times :)
