I have a Shimano 3sp hub with the twist shifter. Less than optimal.
Sturmey Archer is currently making a few 3sp IGH shifters and I would be looking to get one of the newer thumb shifters if it will work.
So questions:
Linear cable pull for the Shimano "Revo" twist grip shifter?
and
Linear cable pull for the Sturmey Archer regular 3sp shifter?
Linear cable pull for the Sturmey Archer S3X 3sp shifter?
Linear cable pull for Shimano 3sp front derailleur (mtn)?
Read somewhere that cable pull for the shimano unit is 6.6mm -- can anyone confirm?
Hoping that the S/A units are either spot-on (unlikely), or that they pull more cable and I can simply use the middle detente for calibration. Or that a Shimano trigger shifter will work perfectly...
