Mountain Biking - bent rear derailleur hanger

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I ordered a bike from bikes direct and it came with a bent rear derailleur hanger, does anyone know where i can order a new one?
Contact the peeps that sold it to you.

Bikesdirect sells them directly.
I bought a new bike from them recently, and I had a RD problem. They sent me a new hanger, no questions asked.

How did they know which one you needed?

I don't get it.
I sent them an email with all the pertinent info, and they replied with something like "Ok, we'll ship it out right away." I got it in a day or two.
How did they know which one you needed?Caller ID, satellite imagery and a computerized shipping log.

I'm usually much more abstruse than that - rankin I think you've been spending too much time in the roady forum.
For a lame joke...it was pretty daggum funny.
