Hello everybody,

Greetings from (surprisingly sunny!) London. Came across this fantastic forum whilst researching the wonderful Surly Troll, looking for build info/pics.

I live in south east London and commute into the centre (The City of London) each day on my LHT. Did actually buy it to use as a proper tourer, but haven't done any major rides yet, although I've ridden to Brighton on the south coast a couple of times (70 miles or so). I also own a single speed Cotic RoadRat, which is a really nice bike too.

Always loved cycling and bikes. Commuting through central London in the rush hour is always a challenge (!) and ensures I arrive at work wide awake. Looking forward to the ride home gets me through the day. Do we all feel just like kids again when we ride, or is it just me?

Oh, I'm 46 and realise that I count as a Clydesdale. Had a look last night at that section and in particular the 'Before and after' thread. Respect to you all folks. Very inspirational.

Be safe out there

Mark.

(now back to that Troll...)
