Anyone know of a match for this Trek color? I've got several small spots to touch up and I'm hoping that someone has found a decent match because I'm practically colorblind! I'm also wondering if someone knows where I might find a good primer on headset rebuilding. This is my first time playing with headsets and I need all the help I can get.
I'm planning on taking a couple of months and re-doing this bike as a learning project to help bolster my meager wrenching skills. I'm going to give the frame and fork an OA bath and touch up then start building it up. I'm either going to swap the parts from my 86 Miyata 912 (slightly too small for me) or find a donor bike. It would be nice to outfit the Trek as near to original as possible, but it has to be done on the cheap. That's why I'm thinking I'll just swap over the Shimano 600 group and replace the biopace chainrings with round.
