Well looking at http://www.mtbr.com it seems to me there are not a lot of really good ISIS drive BB's. Does anybody have anyt recomendations based on expirience with a BB thats under 75dollars?

Yeah, I liked my Gigapipe Team DH....didnt last too long though. Only had it about 5 months worth of riding.....the little cheap $20 Truvativ one I bought has lasted me longer....

I've gone thru a few Truvativ (no the gigapipe) and Race Face ISIS bottom brackets. I've currently got a FSA Platinum Pro in my bike right now. The riding I do is primarily aggressive and steep cross country riding. It's the only ISIS bb that's lasted me longer than one year.

damn, these ISIS BB's seem to go through their lives pretty fast.

Tiny bearings. Its why they have moved to external bearing system to allow for bigger bearing to prolong life.
I only ever had problem with truvativ. I run fsa platinum and they lasted me an entire season ofdh

oh yea the external bearing system, ive heard positive reviews from that. Do they have any external bearing BB's that are compatable with an isis crankset? Im doubting it.

FSA just made one. 2 for xc and 2 for dh/fr.

They are brand new. FSA released them to compete with the more expensive propreitary x-type and the other type (shimano and raceface) I doubt anyone has even seen one yet beyond interbike

No...I assume spring they will be full force. I will be buying one to test. I like the idea of external bearings without having to buy new cranks. Will go nicely with my v-drives
