undefinedHello,I am new to this site, and have recently purchased a new Fuji Cambridge hybrid bike. This is a genre of bicycling that I had been previously unfamiliar with. It works for me. I had been a long time rider of Italin 10 speed road bikes, when I was younger, during the 70's and 80's. However, this kind of bike appeals to me for my purposes, commuting around town, and I don't have to bend over all the time on those drop down handle bars, and I love the twist shift posti-shift gear shifts. Are there any other hybrid owners out there?

Welcome

Pose your question in the "Recreational" bike forum, which is where most of the hybrid discussion happens. Lots of people do not read the intro section.

There are multitudes of hybrid owners on the BFNet

Enjoy the forums.

Welcome to the forums, fellow hybrid owner. So much info here!!

Judging by your post, you must be my age, since your story is similar to mine. http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=76775

I hang out at the touring forum, since that's my passion. I'm setting my hybrid up for touring by hitting up the gift givers in my family for racks (brother), panniers (mother), and fenders (daughter). I plan an extended tour in the spring.

Whatever your cycling passion, glad to hear you're back into the sport.
