Not to hype a penny stock or anything, since there is plenty of that already on the internet, but I've been eyeing a company called Spot Coffee lately and think they stand a reasonably good chance at growth and expansion.

You people in Northern NY have probably been to one before. As of now they're primarily in the Buffalo/neighboring Canada region, and one location in Florida. They plan to open soon a location in Dubai and Saudi Arabia I believe, with two new NY locations and planning on western expansion.

Huge corner locations, great food, community based, positive reviews online, expansion in the near future, microbrewed coffee, etc.

And check out their 2nd quarter results: http://www.spotcoffee.com/images/pdf/spot%20coffee%20reports%20second%20quarter%20financial%20results-%20august%2018%202011%20final.pdf
"Revenue increased 22%..."

What are your takes on this? Buy? Wait a little bit?

Wow EJ. It's been a while since I first met you when you were just a kid. Now you are thinking of investing? Grown indeed. Good luck to you!!

All I know is that I wish I had bought heavily in Green Mountain Coffee (stock GMCR) this time last year. Even with the crap year we're going through, it's still up ~ 330% from 12 months ago. Potentially the only thing Green Mountain and Spot Coffee have in common is they both deal in coffee, but you sure have me scratching my chin right now.

Hmmm.

Check the stock out now! Volume increased a lot recently, but I am not sure why.

And the more actively traded Canadian sister-stock:

Hopefully this will make it up to a buck next year.
