I have a Spinergy Rev-X rear wheel which takes a quick-release skewer. I'm planning on using this on my track bike, but I'm worried about using a Q/R with those long dropouts. Is there any way to convert this to a regular threaded axle?
Thanks!
www.sheldonbrown.com has a discussion about this very topic under the box
"Fixed Gear cycling". The general answer is yes. Cheapest way is probably
to check the local BMX purveyors. Depends on how comprehensive your LBS(s)
are. There is also a Fixed gear forum on www.bikeforums.net styled as
Single speed and fixed gear. Steve
