My bike weighs 36.5 pounds complete, is that pretty good? What are some of the weights of your bikes.

well sometimes u dont want a really light bike because it might not be that strong. i guess an ideal weight if from about 30-35 lbs. but don't take my word for it i don't know alot.

your bike is just a fine weight for street.. I don't know much about flatland, but I don't think you have to worry much about weight there. I have a light-ish bike now, while I dont know the actual weight, but I learned everything on a super heavy kink empire revision b. You really don't have to worry about weight all that much when it comes to street, while it seems that lately people care way too much about it. Your bike is fine.

my fbm weighs 28 lbs. i usually dont go lower than 27, or over 32. it al depends what your comfortable with.

The bike actually rides really well for me, I'm 6'3", 185 lbs. I can actually do a lot on it. I was just wondering about the weight but I guess it's fine because i can control it. One thing i just remembered that makes it heavier (I weighed it like, 5 minutes before i posted this) It has solid tubes because i busted both of the ones i had on the mini ramp.

The weight crisis is here.... everyone is trying to go lighter on their rides. I am keeping my ride at 30lbs. going lower than that weight is a bit sketchy for my style of riding. I would say 30 to 33lbs. is a good weight range today. If your bike is heavy and you can't afford the high price lite weight parts lift some weights thats what I do the bike will feel much lighter.

Mine weighs about 28 pounds right now; my previous bike weighed about 35 or so, and the one before that was in the low 40s.

Well, since a bike has a top tube, down tube, seat tube... and inner tubes, I wasn't sure what you were talking about. Not sure I've ever seen a 'solid' inner tube. Usually they are all filled with air. There are puncture resistent tubes and the ones that are foam filled to help reduce the chance of punctures. But, I haven't seen a solid one before.

im pretty sure thats the standard of like all bikes and how is that supposed to make your bike that much heavier? did you only use tires with no tube before or what?

the tubes in my bike right now are ****ing solid rubber pieces of ****. they're like 3 pounds each.

They probably are thorn resistant tubes... which are crazy heavy.

well any way, i've just heard them refered to as solid tubes. i've actually cut all the way through it to get it on the rim, and it holds up just the same. theyre ****ing crazy
