When buying a new MTN Bike, the amount of choice in brands one gets to choose from is quite amazing. I’ve been looking to buy a new MTN Bike and after spending hours of research and time I had finally narrowed my choice down to three bikes, namely the Diamondback Apex, Axis and Fuji’s Outland Comp.
Yesterday, I took my old MTN bike (Trek) in for a general service at the local bike shop and while browsing around I spyed a brand I’ve not heard much about… Merida. The bike in question is the Merida Miami (http://www.merida.com/s0_global/main_control.php?group0=bikes&group1=mtbsport&bikeId=31).
I know nothing about this brand, then bike shop says it’s a good bike, but I prefer to do independent research… which has not come up with much. Does anyone know anything about this bike / branch ... pro's & con's. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
