Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. From the Setup Sticky:

These are the cantilevers on my tandems. They are the best and easiest-to-adjust I have ever used.

Hmmm, there is a custom frame builder In Spokane called Just Elephant cycles. I wonder if R stayed in Seattle and E came here.

They're actually called "Trillium Big Squeeze" brakes made by R&E Cycles (http://www.rodcycle.com/) in Seattle. Here's the direct link for the brakes: http://www.rodcycle.com/articles/bigsqueeze.html

$125/ wheel is pretty cool for such a unique product. Thanks for the link!

Google 'OnZa HO' brakes. These aren't that different from them.

I should know, I have a few pairs of HOs in the garage!

The R&E brakes seem to have a unique feature - the saddle cable passes over the top of the arm and is anchored at the pivot. Normal behavior of narrow angle cantis is to loose mechanical advantage as the brakes are pulled. THe cable attachment of the R&E is supposed to help maintain the mechanical advantage by using the saddle cable to pinch the arms together rather than just pulling them upward. No idea how effective this is...
