For me, I like the 6 bolt XT disc hubs. Other good ones are Hobe Bulbs, Hope Bigums, Chris King or Hadley.
I've been running the 6-bolt XT hubs on my FS for several years with no problems. One of my friends though has an XT rear hub that has developed a lot of resistance in the freewheel mechanism. It's probably just dirt that has found its way into the hub.

I really like my White Industries hub.....runs smooth, and its been ridden hard since last August. Im also running an Onyx on the back.....believe theyre made by DTswiss. If you want good hubs......go with CK.

That was my biggest complaint with shimano. I, for some reason, destroyed freehubs. Used to go through 1 a month when I first started riding. Switch to hadley and never replaced again

King. Or at least, I hope so. Got a rear wheel being built up at the moment....... everything I've heard about them sounds great. I'm pretty sure it'll be worth the money in the long run.

For any of you old BMXers out there.
I've got a set of disc hubs laced to some older D321 Mavic rims and these a KILL strong wheels.
Can you say titanium freehub body? I thought that you could.
Profile is local for me. O.k., only 45 mins. away. I know a few of the guys that work there and are sponsored by them. My local BMX track is their home base. I've known Termite and Percy for years, wait decades! Great products, great company, great people!

I have gone through the XT rear hubs really fast. It seems that the front hub is amazing but I have differing thoughts about the rear. It seems like they cant take any really heavy loads or drops.
I upgraded to some kings after the second XT and never looked back.

I would put a Hugi TD in the rear and a White in the front.
