My work doesn't provide indoor or covered parking for bikes. I plan to try to commute several days a week this winter (no fog, no snow/ice riding), but have to leave my bike parked outside in the rack.

Do you faithful year-rounders cover your bike? If so, what cover do you use?

I am riding an aluminum bike - Fuji Cross Comp - meant to get grody in Cross races anyhow.

I can't cover mine at work, and certainly not on the bus racks. It stays in the garage or under the car port when at home though. It gets a lot dirtier riding on the gravel muddy roads than it does sitting in the rain.
