I'm about 90% convinced that my new bike is going to be painted some sort of combination of white (most likely pearl) and green. I've started scouring the web looking for just the right hue of green to pair up with the white and am now turning to the power of Foo to help me dig up any that I may have missed so far, and/or help pick one of the many I've already come across.

Looking for a dark green, metallic/pearl/candy sort of color to match the depth of the intended pearl white, but not so dark that it looks black against the white either in non-direct sunlight. I'm not going with any sort of gold / tan hues, but rather sticking with silvers for any accents.

First, the inspiration:

Second a half-arsed attempt at a mock-up from a photo of a white & red Sachs:

And now the current contenders, in no real particular order:

Hate to break it to you, but your bike is never going to look as good at the Vette, the Lotus, or the Jag.:(

I thought it was "British Racing Green". But my box only has 8 crayons.

Oh, I don't know, this (Matador Red Mica)

Translated quite nicely to this:

"BRG" is typically a non-metallic color, though there are exceptions to that rule. I'm looking for something with a lot of 'WOW' factor when the sun gets a hold of it. Like the Matador Red Mica on my Serotta above.

Go with metallic peat with real wood grain accents. You think you hate it now, wait until you see it on your bike!
