There is a similar video on here of a rider being taken out by a deer. I guess the fellow is glad it wasn't a lion, or such.
I wonder if the gazelle's friends weren't just off camera holding up point signs for his performance in knocking the guy off....I give it a 9.8, as he landed right back on his feet and went on his way.

The thing is dude pointed at it and seemed(or should have) known it was coming.
Shortly before the accident, the guy made a gesture with his right arm. Maybe he and his friends were staging the whole thing?
I think they saw it and were trying to outrun it...
As for lions, i wonder if they'd be stupid enough to have a race in an area known to be inhabited by lions. Also, from what I know, lions aren't all that active during the day, don't they usually lie around a lot during the heat of the day and then hunt at night when most nocturnal animals are out? anyways those antelopes are HUGE, apparently he wasn't badly injured.
