I just want to let anyone in the Beloit area know there will be a Halloween event in Beloit on Saturday the 22nd. It involves 3 legs, a 3.3 mile kayak/canoe paddle, choice of a 6 mile or 11 mile bike ride, then a free pint of beer at the Rock Bar and Grill, along with some other specials for the event. The cost is $30/person and includes a boat rental, shuttle service, pint of beer, and an entry to some prizes to be raffled after the event. $25/person if registering as a two person team. If you show up in costume you get the choice of a $10 refund or donating the $10 to the Rock Trail Coalition, a group dedicated to connecting the bike trails between Janesville, Beloit, and South Beloit.
