Having read the rave reviews on panaracer paselas I bought 2 on line for my Litespeed.Nothing great but for $19 each I was satisfied until in the first 100 miles 1 developed a huge bubble on the side wall.Took the tire off and there was a rip on the rim of the tire.I called Jenson USA expecting a war and the return guy simply said He'd send me a new one no charge!!Made my day!!Heaven compared to other experiences I've had with online srores.

I had a similar experience to yours.
Bought a new Vittoria tire and got a flat one week later,
patched the tube then pumped the tire. I noticed the
side bulging with the bead damaged. Returned to REI,
the nice lady gave me a happy ending(to the story, full refund):)

Yes but he didn't ask me to send the tire back both saving me postage and showing trust.

Often the manufacturer wants the defective item back so they can see how it failed. It isn't always a matter of distrust. Perhaps Panaracer had a raft of these failures and already knew about the problem.
Bell Sports used to send you a replacement helmet for $20 if you damaged one of their helmets in a crash and sent the dead body back to them. They wanted to see how it was damaged and use that info to make them better.

I got some bogus Panaracer tires online. They were obviously some sort of knock off. The vendor made good on the return, and refunded my return postage (I sent the receipt for it to them). When I was trying to figure out what the deal was with these tires I called Panaracer and the person to whom I talked indicated that he would replace the tires if the vendor didn't give me satisfaction. Panaracer seems in my experience to have top notch customer service and I wouldn't hesitate to buy their products in the future.
Happy Ending !
How about the new one ? You gotta try .
