General Cycling Discussion - Changing that little phase below my name.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
How do I change that little phrase below my name (I know this somewhat repeats the subject, )
If you are referring to "senior member", then go to "Your Control Panel" and select "edit profile". Then scrolll down the page to "custom user text". Enter whatever you'd like - just keep it clean ;)
I checked the "edit profile" but I do not have the text field that you specified. These are the ones that i have :
Biography:
Location:
Interests:
Occupation:
Your Picture:
Custom User Text is directly above Biography.
Here's mine.

You need to be a registered member for over 30 days, and have posted a certain number of posts - 100?

I wasn't aware of the 30 day requirement. I thought you only had to be a "senior member".
Live and learn. :D
And yes Joe [Mr. Microsoft Tech Support/Customer Service :D ] -- Netscape!
I've used it since day one and haven't had problems until recently. I've tried Netscape 6.22 but didn't like it so went back to 4.79.
IE doesn't seem as user friendly as Netscape.
Besides I have about 400 bookmarks that IE won't import. Or at least I haven't figured out how to do it.

Dont tell my boss, but i use netscape at work! ;) This site is made of tables, and netscape is not very table friendly... It looks OK in netscape, but IMHO, much better in IE.

Theres always a catch...bike forums way of makin ya post and stick around <that damn msg below ur name> :D
Does anyone know if their is a benefit for posting 1 million replys or starting 1 million threads. Now thats something to think about. If you can chage a little message below your name for a meer 30 days and 100 posts think of what might be around that 1 million mark.

I wonder how impossible that would be. I think I calculated everything and...........you would have to post 36 posts per day for 75 years. That would be a crazy accomplishment.
Well i say go for it. Unless you have something planned for the next 35-36 years there shouldn't be a problem thats only like 5 posts and hour per day
Oops my bad i got the numbers mixed up. But you what i meant if you aren't busy for like 75 years. Anyway keep it real.
