Foo - Will Performance match prices on-line?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have had Performance match competitor's prices on phone orders, but how does one do it on-line from their web site?
I think you have to call them or go to one of their shops. They don't have a way to match prices on the website.

I have doubts about it. I've been trying to get Performance to answer an email about if they will carry the CatEye LD1000. They originally responded with "No one else carries it so we don't". When I said Nashbar does and would they carry it, they never responded. Even to a 2nd email.
Sigh..
Sometimes I hate being in Canada (too costly to do an order from Nashbar and an order from Performance for the things I want... )

Beyondbikes.com will price match about anyone... I had them pricematch this absolutely amateur looking website on a cygolite Z-force NiMh HID light for $269, which is about $80 off their normal price. One thing I will say about BB, though is that they're slow at times. It took almost a month to get my avid wavy rotors and my headlight is due tonight even though I ordered it 8 days ago and asked for UPS 3-day select shipping. Nashbar seems to process & ship the same day, while Beyondbikes takes on average of 2 days to process orders. The headlight order wasn't TOO bad because of Thanksgiving, but I'm still miffed about how long it took to get my rotors.
You have to talk to a rep. at performance to get a matched price.
