Foo - Dennis Ritchie, creator of the C Language dies

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Not as famous as Steve Jobs, but his programming language is running on most of your devices, apple or not. Even the micro-controller on your microwave oven is probably programmed in some sort of C.
condolences(RIP);

For some reason Bike Forums wouldn't allow the closing bracket. Oh, well.
Writing an entirely new computer language...and explaining it in a 20 page training manual. Really have to be doing something right.

The only real computer science class I ever took was CSC 204: C and UNIX, Cal Poly, Spring 1997.

I worked at the same company at the same time. But I never met any of the Unix guys from NJ. I wish I had.
