I'm trying to get the victory brake levers off my handlebars.Shimano has an allen screw you turn to loosen the clamp..I look inside I see a little nut and bolt where I expected to see on allen key hole. What tool do I use to open it?I tried a long nosed plier,no go.Is there a socket type screw driver I have to buy?

I don't know that model, but could be a 6 mm socket wrench needed. Can you get a picture in there ?

Victory levers are essentially identical to Campy's other brake levers from that period. An 8mm socket will loosen the nut on the clamp and you can then slide the lever off the bar.

+1, an 8mm 1/4" drive socket, would do, as well, add a couple inch extension ,
as well, between the ratchet [or screw driver, 1/4" square-drive] handle and the socket bit.
