Hi! I've been lurking for a while, and finally decided to join up.
I don't own a car, though my wife does. I do the vast majority of my commuting, shopping, running around, etc. by bike.
I have two bikes right now, a Quest Everest (Dick's sporting goods brand mountain bike, nothing special) and a Raleigh Grand Prix frame built up as an 18 speed light tourer.
I'd like to build up a fixed gear with a flip flop hub, freewheel on one side, as a commuter, but the wife swears there's no room for more bikes.
There's ALWAYS room for more bikes. ;)
Anyway, I'm an engineering student, a cell phone tower climber, and I love bikes.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
