a friend of mine has this really cool spacer off an old raliegh. it's like those brake mount spacers some bikes have but it's just got the crane emblem cut into it, all style. i was wondering what you raliegh fiends thought it may be worth. it's in great shape.

That's a headlamp mounting bracket. Many headlamps (at least in Europe) had a slot-like mount, and it slid onto the bracket. I don't use mine as a bracket, but I consider it sort of a distinctive Raleigh 'hood ornament'. I've seen a couple on eBay in the last month for $5 to $10.
