My name is Kevin , im 44 years old .I just started riding in the spring of 2011.My goal is to get in shape and lose weight .I am also riding to build my overall endurance .I play drums in a few bands and the music is very demanding physically for the drummer and my age started catching up with me , so Im trying to turn back the clock a little bit .I am currently riding a 2011 trek 7100 about 15-20 miles 4 times a week.

Bike riding will get you looking and feeling good.
Loosing weight is about less calorie intake.

Hi Kevin, welcome! Good job with the workouts. I'm riding 10 miles daily and 20-30 on the weekend with my fat tire (26") bike. Trek 7100 looks nice.

Thank you Ramfactor.The Trek is pretty nice , im happy with it so far.I wish I would have gotten a Trek 7.3 though.Maybe next year ?
