I purchased this Biscayne Custom on c-list the other day for $60. Most of the components were no good so im doing another fixie project. I was wondering if biscayne was any good and if the sturmey archer stem worth anything? I would like your opinion on the bike, thank you.
The stem and bars in the pic are itm and cinelli tempo.

Nothing special. I cry when I see nice vintage bikes get the "powdercoat + fixie" treatment, but I would not crucify you on this one. Do what you want with it.

The Cinelli bars are definitely worth something.

No powdercoating here, if the decals are still visible it stays original. But i know what you mean, I hate seeing those painted bianchis and others on ebay and craigslist. The bars came from my neighbor because im selling a coppi frame for him. But what exactly is Biscayne?
