I have three recumbent bikes, all with 20" front wheels, and I'm trying to find a pannier rack that will mount on beefy front forks fitted with Avid BB7 disc brakes.

Since many folding bikes have 20" wheels, I thought this might be the best place to post this query.

What kind of folder is it ?

Many folks (including myself) build custom racks at a price that are far better than almost anything you can get off the peg and you must have a few local builders who could help you.

None of the 3 recumbents are folders. I'm just trying to find pannier racks that fit 20" disc forks.

(1) 2004 HP Velotechnik Grasshopper w/ suspension fork
(2) 2009 Lightfoot Cycles Roadrunner delta trike
(3) 2011 Bacchetta Bella ATT

I'd like to be able to mount panniers on front forks of (2) and (3), both of which have Avid BB7 disc brakes.

Look at Bike friday's front racks, you will find they have 2 mounts
they braze on a fitting just behind the V brake boss, and a fork tip eyelet.

any mechanic, and shop with a fabrication facility can turn the brake boss ,
into a place that you could mount the upper rear rack mount.. making brackets

most forks have a mudguard eyelet on the fork tip,
if not a machine shop can drill and tap for the mount, in the casting.


Of course , a custom frame builder can make racks specific to what you wish.
