hello
i'm a 55 yo guy just started riding track. i'm a weak beginner and been lurking here for a while. i noticed that i my stock handle bar width is 420mm on my 2010 fuji track comp 54cm and it feels the handle bar is too wide. so, i was looking for a alloy 380mm bar and it seems hard to find one. can someone help me here?
thanks. Jonathan
Nitto b123 come that small. Theyre what I am riding with no complaints.
Nitto and Deda both make several track drops in sizes that are <40cm
Deda Velocita (http://www.benscycle.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=188_232_592_674&products_id=10425) are basically the CroMoly versions of the Deda Pistas and only come in a polished/chrome finish.
Nitto B123 (http://www.benscycle.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=188_232_592_2175&products_id=11335) are the same as the NJS bars used in Japanese keirin, but come in 31.8 clamp size and can also be had in 39cm.
Cobra Track bars (http://www.benscycle.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=188_232_592_2174&products_id=11327), though I have never heard of them before.
Hope this helps

Nitto B123AA (deep drop) and B125AA (compact short and shallow drop) sprint bars are excellent choices in alloy bars. I know they are available in 36, 38, & 40cm sizes and probably a few more. I know that the Nitto B123 steel versions are available in 1cm increments in Japan 36-42cm.

Milwaukee Bikes (aka Ben's Cycle) is a reputable company with a great selection of track gear. So is Business Cycles. I've ordered from both. If you order from Business Cycles, do it over the phone. I don't think their online ordering system works. But the guy on the phone is really nice and helpful.
